About

In 1928, the Hong Kong Government took over radio broadcasting and launched its first broadcasts in June under the call-sign GOW. It would later become Radio Hong Kong, then Radio Television Hong Kong. Throughout the decades, RTHK has recorded the ups and downs of Hong Kong. At the same time, we pioneered innovative programme genres that brought pleasure to generations of Hong Kong people and would become part of their fond memories. In RTHK Memory, you will find RTHK programmes that not only reflect the changes of Hong Kong, but also RTHK’s efforts in advancing cultural and civil education. (Certain video / audio records may exhibit slight damage.)
