The story is about Yeh Pui, a girl who has
devoted herself unselfishly to help dying people in a place called
the House of Dying in Calcutta, India.
She gave up her job as a scriptwriter for
television and magazines in Hong Kong for sake of helping dying
people regardless of their race and beliefs.
One summer, Yeh Pui returned to Hong Kong,
hoping to make enough money for her return to Calcutta without much
success. She decided to go back where her heart belongs to and to
continue her mission. Her passion to the patients in the center
seems rather fanatic move to her twin sister and friends, but for
her, the House of Dying was a place she could learn the unselfish
love of mankind nad he meaning of life.
