Are all prominent classical musicians prodigies when they were young?
Violinist Mengla Huang must be one of the exceptions.
Mengla Huang won the gold medal in the International Paganini Violin Competition in 2002. He has become the most promising young violinist in China today. Yet when Mengla Huang was a child, he did not like to play the violin, and his teacher thought he lacked musicality. He was at the bottom of his class and was considered a looser by others. How did the change come about? Who has ignited the love of music in him?
Now classical music has become an integral part of Mengla Huang. And the pursuit of classical music has become the driving force in his life.
