"The 1 2 3 Show", on Radio 3.
On Friday's 123 Show, Jean Hudson tells us about the latest garage sales that she's organising at the University of Science and Technology. The proceeds from the events go towards supporting several charities, including our own annual campaign, Operation Santa Claus. That's at 1.30. After that, Australian singer-songwriter Dustin Tebbutt talks about pushing the boundaries of creativity through his music. After 2, on the Agender cafe we're talking about cancers affecting women. Hosts Karen Koh and Noreen Mir talk to Katharina Reimer from the Karen Leung Foundation, which is Hong Kong’s only charity dedicated to gynaecological cancers, and Barbara Thole, who is a breast cancer survivor. Finally, we'll hear a short story called Whispers, by Liam Beale, who was the third prize winner of Hong Kong's Top Story 2017 in the adult category. The story is read by Liam himself. And for those listeners who are into writing, don't forget to submit your entry for this year's stop story competition. The deadline is November 2.
