Today on Morning Brew we welcome back commentator Steve Vines. This week the government discovered that the homeless don’t tend to have addresses, quite possibly don’t actually have bank accounts, and it was thoroughly mortified to find out that they don’t tend to own printers and packets of A4. What next!? Listen to Steve and send your enlightened comments by email after 10. Our tame vet Dr. David Gething will be with us at 11.40. Today; aural and oral, as he’ll debunk various myths about supplements for our pets, whilst looking deep into their ears. After 12 we’re off to Bolzano in the Italian Alps, where once again we catch up with MB wino JC Viens. (9:30am-1pm, email email@example.com )
Welcome to Friday on Morning Brew. We'll kick off at 9.40 this morning with a quick trip to Brazil, where we find our friend The Radio Vagabond, Palle Bo. He's making his way around the world one interview at a time, and today he's in São Paulo. All our Chefs are busy cheffing this morning, so we'll give the food bit a break between courses. So, at 10.10 we meet photographer Nana Chen who's beautiful new book "Chung King Mansions: Hong Kong's Last Ghetto" launches tomorrow. At 11.10 we welcome Dr. Badisha Banerjee from The Education University of Hong Kong to tell us about a great literary project she’s running. It’s called One City One Book HK. The idea is to get as many people as possible here reading a single book during a fixed period of time. After 12 we’re off to the movies with reviewer James Marsh, discussing Green Book and Creed II.
