With super-telescopes and NASA’s space satellite Kepler, we study exoplanets where life might be possible or could have been possible. The answer might be coming, from any of the mysterious exoplanets.

    For the first time, astrophysicists can detect extra-terrestrial neutrinos in the ice of the South Pole. Neutrinos are the most common elementary particles and at the same time the most mysterious. As these particles are invisible to us, we cannot check if they have a mass. Also, they are not electrically charged, and rarely interact with other matter. But for scientists, each of the tiny neutrinos is a potential messenger that carries direct information about its origin in space.
