[A mentally healthy Hong Kong] The side effects of a society that takes pride in productivity are long working hours and immense pressure. Approximately 9% of Hong Kong people have symptoms of depression, and such cases are on the rise every year. Mental health problems still carry social stigma and misunderstandings. Mental Health Foundation (MHF) is devoted to making Hong Kong a stigma-free and mentally healthy city. Their core objectives consist of preventing, educating, and involving the public on mental health issues. MHF also provides direct services for people who are affected by mental illness.
To tackle the stereotypes surrounding mental health issues and promote social connections, MHF has developed the OSC-funded Night to Light Programme that targets young adults. Supported by OSC, activities such as hiking, therapy support and sharing sessions will be offered to young adults that are battling mental illnesses. The programme provides a non-judgmental and safe environment for youngsters to share their journey and facilitate support in hopes of building a mental health community of friendship.

香港每100人就有9位出现抑郁症的症状，但可惜社会大众仍对精神疾病有很多误解和偏见。精神健康基金会（MHF）的使命，是提供预防病症，推广疾病知识，和提供服务予精神病患者。MHF促进公众参加不同义工活动，以消除香港人对情绪问题的偏见，及致力推动香港成为精神健康城市。

[You are never alone] Have you ever felt lonely or misunderstood? As one of the most fast-paced cities in the world, Hong Kong youngsters are facing more pressure than ever. The frequency of youth suicide is increasing; in 2016, 82 youths took their own lives. So where can you get help if you’re suffering from mental health issues? “No one has to face a mental health problem alone” is the firm principle of Mind Mental Health Hong Kong (Mind HK). They strive to improve medical care and support for vulnerable individuals . Their missions include providing partnerships and research and training to support the mental healthcare community in Hong Kong.
With increasing pressure placed on teens in Hong Kong, it is estimated that 1 in 4 young adults experience mental health problems. With funding from OSC, Mind HK launched the Coolminds campaign that focuses on youngsters. In cooperation with KELY Support Group and the Weez Project, Coolminds hopes to improve the mental health of young people through an extensive programme of sharing and destigmatisation. Through mental health literacy training, community outreach campaigns and provision of online resources, over 1000 youngsters and adults will benefit from such a OSC-funded programme.

[你不孤单] 2016年香港低于24岁的自杀个案高达82宗。香港年青人面对的压力日渐增加，遇到精神情绪问题又感孤单无助，又不知道向谁求助。Mind Mental Health Hong Kong 相信每位受精神困扰的人都无毋须孤独面对。他们为精神病患者提供医疗及支援服务，以确保受精神困扰的人都可以得到适当的支援。Mind HK亦会为精神健康服务界提供研究、合作和培训活动。
今年Mind HK将会透过你的善款资助，与启励扶青会和The Weez Project合作，举办Coolminds项目，以支援患有精神疾病的年青人。除此之外，成年人亦有机会学习如何支持和鼓励他们身边受情绪困扰的亲友。通过一连串培训、社会外展计划与网上资讯分享，Mind HK相信将有超过1,000人受惠于Coolminds。

[The Christmas family home] People with special needs have been the most marginalised groups in society for a long period of time. Seeing the disabled being deprived of education, employment and decent healthcare, the founders of Home of Loving Faithfulness created a home to provide life-long residential care for handicapped children and adults in a family setting. This home has been welcoming the handicapped with open arms for half a century. The home aims to empower young disabled people in Hong Kong to achieve their fullest potential.
With support from OSC, it provides life-long special care and attention to those who need constant monitoring. The less physically challenged family members are encouraged to develop skills appropriate to their level of understanding, to develop their capability.

[基督的大家庭] 香港这个繁荣城市，背后隐藏着被社会边缘化的残疾人士。1965年，两位英籍女士见到香港有特殊需要的儿童，得不到应有教育和医疗保健，因此他们本着基督仁爱精神设立可爱忠实之家，为香港残疾人士提供终身护理服务。
今年可爱忠实之家得到爱心圣诞大行动的支持，护理人员和义工将致力为院友提供全面的住宿护理服务，为严重残疾的院友提供终生照顾服务，为轻度残疾的成员给予适切的技能训练，以鼓励年轻残疾人士充分发挥他们的潜能。

[Social inclusion with books] Rolling Books was founded to promote reading experiences and reconnect people with knowledge, lifestyle and nature. Audio Description Association (Hong Kong), established in 2015, is devoted to enhancing social inclusion by promoting audio description and training audio describers to assist visually-impaired people.
Their project, ‘Multi-sensory Reading Experience through Image, Sound and Touch’ supported by OSC, targets children with special educational needs (SEN), especially the visually-impaired. This project intends to develop the reading accessibility of picture books, by providing audio description clips online for a locally-published picture book with audio description, braille, tactile and paper sculpture. These multi-sensory picture books are designed to be a social inclusion tool to be communicated to the visually-impaired, as well as their sighted peers. The sighted children can enjoy the same multi-sensory books and build empathy with SEN children, while strengthening their visual literacy through the products.

[阅读无分你我] 滚动的书透过推广阅读体验，将知识、生活及大自然重新连系。香港口述影像协会于2015年成立，透过推广口述影像及培训口述影像员协助视障人士，促进社会共融。
他们推出“图像、声音和触感－多感官阅读体验” 的阅读项目，获得爱心圣诞大行动支持。该阅读体验项目是为有特殊学习需要人士提供，尤其是视觉障碍的儿童。项目内容是为本地出版的绘本提供视障口述影像、盲文、触觉和纸质雕塑，促进社会共融。一般儿童亦可以享受多感官书籍，跟有特殊需要的小朋友一齐产生共鸣，增强图像识读能力。
