邱芷芊 (女高音)

Hailed as “a light, silvery, bright soprano with impressive coloratura” (The Aspen Times), Hong Kong soprano Vivian Yau has been voted “My Favorite Young Music Maker” on Radio Television Hong Kong by public audience. Ms. Yau holds a Bachelor of Music degree from The Juilliard School, and is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Recent highlights of Ms. Yau’s career include singing the role of Rosina in Aspen Opera Center’s production of Il Barbiere di Siviglia, and her Carnegie Hall debut as soloist in Bach’s Christmas Oratorio with the Cecilia Chorus of New York. Ms. Yau’s other operatic roles include Adele (Die Fledermaus), Tirésias (Les Mamelles de Tirésias), and Asteria (Tamerlano). Ms. Yau also enjoys actively collaborating with contemporary composers, premiering Jakub Polaczyk’s 'Missa Apuncta' at the XVIII International Chopin & Friends Festival in NYC.
