Compulsory testing announced for 34 locations

The government on Wednesday issued compulsory testing notices for 34 places across Hong Kong.

Anyone who has visited any of these premises and stayed there for the length of time and on the dates specified must get a nucleic acid test for Covid-19.

The residential buildings listed are located in Tai Po, North Point, Chai Wan, Mong Kok, Cha Kwo Ling, Tung Chung, Tuen Mun, Ma On Shan, Chai Wan, Shek Kip Mei, Happy Valley, Sham Shui Po, Wong Tai Sin, Sha Tin, Tai Wai, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, Ngau Tau Kok, Cheung Sha Wan, and Yuen Long.

Tests are also required after positive sewage samples at the following locations: Koon Yat House, Choi Wan (I) Estate, Ngau Chi Wan and Block 2, Elegance Garden, Tai Po.

Earlier, the Centre for Health Protection confirmed 2,004 Covid cases, 155 of them imported.
