Compulsory testing ordered for 81 locations

The government on Tuesday issued compulsory testing notices for 81 places across Hong Kong.

Anyone who has visited any of these premises and stayed there for the length of time and on the dates specified must get a nucleic acid test for Covid-19.

The buildings are located in Tai Wai, Tseung Kwan O, Yau Tong, Kwun Tong, Ma On Shan, So Kwun Wat, Tin Shui Wai, Kwai Chung, Yuen Long, Tsuen Wan, Sai Wan Ho, Tuen Mun, Sha Tin, Sheung Shui, Tuen Mun, Tsz Wan Shan, Mid-Levels, Quarry Bay, Wong Tai Sin, Mong Kok, Tsing Yi, Ap Lei Chau, Tai Kok Tsui, Aberdeen, North Point, Lam Tin, Pok Fu Lam, Ngau Chi Wan, Cheung Sha Wan, Hung Hom, Fanling, Ma Wan, Kowloon Bay, Yau Ma Tei, Ngau Tau Kok, Causeway Bay and Yau Yat Chuen.

In addition, two locations in Chai Wan were issued with compulsory testing notices after sewage samples tested positive for Covid-19.

The Centre for Health Protection on Thursday reported another 5,990 infections, including 163 imported cases.
