Hong Kong stocks fell at the open on Friday after a mixed day on Wall Street, even after data showed US inflation continued to come down in October.

The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.14 percent to 17,019.

The Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.08 percent to 3,027. the Shenzhen Composite Index was marginally lower, inching down 0.82 points to 1,882. (AFP)
