Infectious diseases specialist, Joseph Tsang, says he is surprised to find that some elderly people are still reluctant to get Covid jabs. The Hong Kong Public Opinion Research Institute interviewed 664 people aged 60 and over and found 18 percent had not been fully vaccinated, with a third of these expressing concern over side effects. The death of a five-year-old boy who was found unconscious with multiple injuries inside a subdivided Sham Shui Po flat at the weekend has raised fresh concerns over the welfare of children from poor families. The boy's mother has been arrested on suspicion of murder, and another woman was also detained for alleged child neglect.
