Chief executive Carrie Lam has said the government may start requiring inbound travellers to undergo coronavirus antibody tests. She also said she was “concerned and disappointed” after a student was tested positive on June 5. The case ended Hong Kong’s 42-day streak of zero local Covid infections.
Experts are still looking for the source of their infections, some suggested it was an imported case that went undetected during the quarantine period.
