「老想跟你说」包含两个意思：一是「老人家想与大家说的话」；二是「总是想跟大家说的话」。节目正是希望透过不同嘉宾的分享，加深听众对身边中老年亲友的了解，同时学习如何预备迈向中老年。

The programme “Elderly says” tells you the words the elderly wish, and have always wished to tell you. Through sharing by different guests, it is hoped that audience can learn more about the thoughts of our middle-aged family members, as well as learn to plan ahead of aging.
