Exploring the powerful stories of education, the programme brings us into the heart of Hong Kong’s diverse Ethnic Minority (EM) community and their personal missions in transforming education. In the programme, guests share heart-to-heart about how they, through education, navigate moments of love, care, and relationships amidst hurdles and identity crises shared among the EM community. Not only is the programme an educator’s manual to practice empathy for other communities, it is more importantly a sincere love letter to those who feel they live on the peripheries.
In our last episode, Dr. Puja Kapai joins us as both an EM parent and Associate Professor of Law and Convenor of the Women's Studies Research Centre at HKU. As two worlds collide, Dr. Kapai looks at data and the world history of racism, and connects her personal experience to a global dimension.
