Education Bureau's employer survey / Industrial tourism / Dental mercury phasing-out

On Thursday's Backchat, we looked at an Education Bureau survey which found that about 98 percent of employers were satisfied with the work performance of local graduates.
The survey talked to about 1,500 employers and over 1,300 local graduates, as well sub-degree holders. Its results showed that work attitude was perceived by employers as the most important aspect of competence.
After the break, we learned more about industrial tourism as visitors will soon be able to join tours in facilities operated by a number of well-known Hong Kong brands, including food company Lee Kum Kee, and bakery chain Kee Wah.
And to end the show, we talked to a dentistry expert about a recent agreement by multiple countries to phase out mercury tooth-fillings.

Upgraded China-ASEAN free trade deal / New seat belt rules / Link Hong Kong Open 2025

    主持人:Azam Khan and Ada Wong

On Tuesday's Backchat, we had a look back at the 28th China-ASEAN Summit, that took place in Kuala Lumpur last week. One of the highlights was the signing of a major free-trade deal between China and the bloc of Southeast Asian nations. Premier Li Qiang said that closer regional cooperation could help overcome global economic uncertainties.

Since November 1, children under the age of eight are required to use child safety seats or other restraining devices while travelling in private cars. As for passengers on public and school buses, fastening-up will be mandatory from January 25 next year.

At the end of the show, we swung into some golf action, after the Link Hong Kong Open concluded over the weekend with a range of new events on the pipeline.
