Good morning and welcome to a new week. On Morning Brew today we begin at 10.10 with our weekly rugby thing from the CEO of HK Rugby, Robbie McRobbie. He’s got all the latest local news plus, of course, it’s World Cup time. After 11 we welcome back the extremely talented Hong Kong based artist Roberta Boffo - Artist, who wants to invite you to see her work at the Asia Contemporary Art Show. Join us on Facebook Live. (9:30am-1pm, email firstname.lastname@example.org )
Welcome to Thursday on Morning Brew. Steve Vines is still away on his world tour and, all being well, should be back next week. After 10.30 today we’re going to find out about another very cool sport based charity; The Starfish Foundation. Based in Cambodia it helps the poorest children, through the fantastic team building medium of football, to get the education they deserve. After 11 we meet (The Jam’s) bass player Bruce Foxton and guitarist Russell Hastings, who are...”From The Jam”. This fantastic “tribute band, plus” is in the middle of a huge tour, and they play Hong Kong tonight. After 11.30 our vet Dr. David Gething will be back with another serious advice session. It’s seems that leptospirosis in Hong Kong is way more at the moment than something we merely look up online. It’s reached emergency levels, and Dave will tell you all he knows. At 12.10 more wine whines, ive from Italy, with Maestro JC Viens. Finally, a day earlier than normal, we’re off to the movies with James Marsh after 12.30. Join him on Facebook Live.
