Weekday programme Morning Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from earnest current affairs to cookery to the arts.
Catch it live:
Monday to Friday 9.30am - 1pm
Good morning and welcome to Thursday. It’s Steve Vines day. Join him at 10.10 to chat about all the weeks’s comings and goings, including the latest gossip, which people here are trying to get to the bottom of, about a particularly inventive COVID test being used on the mainland. Dr. Dave the MB vet is busy with important furry matters today, so he will return next week. Also, our wine expert JC Viens is travelling today, but instead we’ll welcome back our country singer friend Wallace Mair for some music, live from Canberra in Australia. We’ll hear his song Forever Dreamin’, which got to number 5 in the UK and Ireland country music charts, plus whatever else he feels like doing “live”. Join us on Facebook live throughout
Welcome to Wednesday on Morning Brew. In a major (but one-off) cabinet reshuffle, Steve Vines will be with us today at 10.10, with his usual Blu-ray commentary. After 11.30 Philippe Dova from RTL France will bring you his weekly update of all things French, including more of those impeccably chosen musical masterpieces. At 12.10 we’ll visit Chris Watts at his Motion Dynamics studio in Central. Join us on Facebook live throughout (9:30am-1pm, email firstname.lastname@example.org and Facebook)
