Doug Woodring – Plastic Bottle Recycling Challenge / Jarrod Watt – Aussie journalist / Merrin Pearse – Sustainabilist / Morris Miselowski – Business futurism

    主持人:Phil Whelan

Welcome to Tuesday on Morning Brew. For some time now people here have been talking about monetising (plastic) bottle recycling. We’ll it’s worked all over the world with glass bottles for many years. Doug Woodring from the Ocean Recovery Alliance will be with us at 10.10 to tell you about their Plastic Bottle Recycling Challenge. At 10.40 we’ll get all the latest about an increasingly politically troubled Australia, with our boy Jarrod Watt. The word on the street is people are mulling a new movie called “ONE WAY Passage to India”. It’s no joke though, as the government is threatening to jail Aussies retuning from India. Jarrod has more. At 11.10 Dr. Merrin Pearse will be talking to Anita Lam and Andy Stokes about how they are fusing together street art and augmented reality to engage with the public on the issue of wildlife trafficking in our city. After 12 Morris Miselowski joins us from Melbourne for more biz futurism. Today; disaster-proofing buildings (in places like Japan) and apps that try to control media consumption. (9:30am-1pm, email morningbrew@rthk.hk and Facebook)
