    The Brew

    简介

    主持人:Phil Whelan

Every weekday from noon, The Brew is a chat and music show. Hosted by Phil Whelan, guests include regular contributors and drop-ins, who span topics from current affairs to cookery, sport, the arts, technology, and music... lots of music. For 19 years, Phil has presented 'Morning Brew', but now that we've moved to the lunchtime spot, all we need to change is the name. We have the same MB crew coming to you on the same days, and we're open for business... as usual.

That's at 12.10. After 12.30 our very own Muscle Man, Chris Watts from Motion Dynamics will be chatting about the rate of perceived exertion which is used to determine how to manage and gauge your intensity of physical exercise. It also has a muscle pain scale too. Then at 1.30 Neil Runcieman is live this week from Hua Hin in Thailand, as he compares Vietnam with it's "rich" neighbour. All that plus the best in music until 2pm. Listen live here: https://www.rthk.hk/radio/radio3

Welcome to Tuesday on The Brew, and a huge "thank you" to Carolyn Wright for sitting in Yesterday. Phil's back today, after a weekend pushing Tim Huxley's buttons at the Macau Grand Prix! Biz futurist Morris Miselowski will be with you at 12.10 to talk about some odd goings-on in the world of AI, after some interesting Microsoft musical chairs over the past few days. Jarrod Watt joins us at 12.40 will all his news and views from Down Under. Then, at 1.25, Dr. Merrin Pearse, live from New Zealand. Today we have Dana Winograd with us again. She's co-founder of Plastic Free Seas, and she'll give us a whirlwind tour of PFS life over past 10 years, along with what's new and exciting, including the recently passed legislation to ban certain single-use plastics.
