Join us at Hong Kong Park for an evening of hope and connection through music. Joseph Haydn—Kapellmeister to the Esterházy family—wrote more than a hundred symphonies whose clarity, wit, and optimism continue to inspire. Johannes Brahms upheld those Classical ideals with deep feeling and craft, and he was admired by his colleague Max Bruch, who dedicated his First Symphony to Brahms.

This programme brings together cherished orchestral works by these three masters, including Max Bruch’s beloved Violin Concerto No. 1 with Esther Yoo as soloist. The City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong will be conducted by Wilson Ng. The Hong Kong Children’s Choir opens the concert with uplifting songs, sharing a message of comfort, strength, and the courage to move forward.

在患难中，人与人之间的连结何等重要和珍贵。今年的「爱心园林音乐会」会展示作曲家之间的连结与爱戴，亦以音乐送上希望。毕生奉献给艾斯塔哈西宫廷的海顿写出过百首交响曲，作品风格明朗、睿智，不但深深吸引当时的欧洲大众，亦啓发后世的作曲家。浪漫时期的布拉姆斯就继承了海顿的古典美学。另一方面，布拉姆斯亦深受同时期的作曲家布鲁赫欣赏，布鲁赫甚至将重要的第一交响曲题献给他。

音乐会将送上这三位大师的管弦乐曲，当中包括布鲁赫为人喜爱的第一小提琴协奏曲，会由小提琴名家柳爱莎担任独奏，亦有吴怀世指挥的香港城市室乐团同台演出。香港儿童合唱团会率先登场，献上三首鼓舞人心的合唱曲，陪伴大家越过困难、携手前行。
