Distinguished composers, together with selected emerging composers from Hong Kong and around the world, present and revise their chamber music compositions after in-depth discussions with world-renowned performers during Open Discussions. The revised compositions are presented at the World Premiere Concert, preceded by the Preview Concert. This is the World Premiere Concert presented on 10/6/2026 at the Hong Kong City Hall Theatre. Works by Harry González, Yuval Medina and Arthur Yuen are performed along side Bright Sheng and Shostakovich by the Stauffer String Ensemble.
来自香港及世界各地的杰出作曲家，联同获选的新晋作曲家，于多场公开讨论中与享誉国际的演奏家深入交流，反覆琢磨其室乐作品，并作出修订。修订后的作品先于「预演音乐会」与观众见面，其后于「世界首演音乐会」正式发表。今场演出为2026年6月10日假香港大会堂剧院举行之「世界首演音乐会」，由 Stauffer 弦乐团演出贡沙理士 、梅迪拿及阮保衡的新作，以及盛宗亮和萧斯达高维契的作品。

The Leonkoro offers works spanning three centuries. They begin with Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 4 in C minor, Op. 18 No.4. This is followed by a modern classic: the intensely autobiographical String Quartet No. 8, Op. 110 by Shostakovich. The evening concludes with the monumental D minor quartet "Death and the Maiden" by Schubert, a highlight of the string quartet repertoire.
The Leonkoro Quartet has an enormous stage presence, is passionate about the music, takes risks, and astonishes with its sensitivity to the specific sound of each piece. For this performance the second violin is played by Loïc Rio, a member of the Modigliani Quartet.
狮子之心四重奏素以强烈的舞台感染力着称，其演出充满激情、勇于探索，并以敏锐的音色触觉完美诠释每首作品的独特意境，令人赞叹。今场音乐会呈献横跨三个世纪的经典杰作，他们先以贝多芬的C小调第四弦乐四重奏（作品18）拉开序幕，随后是萧斯达高维契充满强烈自传色彩的C小调第八弦乐四重奏（作品110）这套现代经典作品。音乐会的压轴，乃是弦乐四重奏曲目的巅峰之作——舒伯特宏大的D小调弦乐四重奏《死神与少女》。
是次演出的第二小提琴是由莫迪葛利安尼四重奏成员里奥担纲。
