The former Dean of Music, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Benedict Cruft, passed away on 11 August in the UK. He came from a family of six generations of musicians, and, at age 19, he won the top prize for violinists at the Royal College of Music. Benedict was a member of the London Symphony Orchestra, London String Quartet, and Associate Concertmaster of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. In this episode, we will revisit the performances and programmes he hosted on Radio 4 and the interviews with his music friends (Cantonese Programme).

香港演艺学院音乐学院前院长顾品德于8月11日在英国离世。他来自一个六代皆为音乐家的世家，十九岁在英国皇家音乐学院就读期间已获小提琴的最高荣誉。他曾是伦敦交响乐团、伦敦弦乐四重奏的成员，及香港管弦乐团的副团长。这特辑会重温他的演出及在第四台主持的节目，亦会访问曾与他合作的好友。
