一天，小女孩与友伴在「大圣庙」旁的小公园踏单车，因辅助轮的不便和同伴的笑谑而沮丧自责。然而祸不单行，其中一边辅助轮在意外中破毁了。失去倚靠的小女孩敌不过对跌倒的恐惧，只好黯然下车，看着友伴单车上的背影渐渐远去。
一只拥有法术的猴子决定助小女孩一把。在他的诱导下，小女孩进入了一个诡异离奇的幻象空间。为了逃避奇异生物的滋扰，她只能硬着头皮骑上单车，摇摇摆摆地奋力前进。当她在小猴马戏班的怪奇表演和种种迷离景象中穿梭之时，眼前出现了一幅又一幅富激励性的影像，驱使她回忆起从前克服难关的经历，并渐渐找回失落了的勇气。
