00" The Drunkard" portrays a professional Hong Kong writer fond of serious literature, who is forced to surrender his literary ideals and write vulgar pornographic and martial arts novel. Against the recriminations of his artistic instincts, he passed his days drowning his sorrows in drink.

00"The Drunkard" has a very high degree of artistic innovation. The stream-of-consciousness and poetry are applied to depict the drunkard's hazy mental environment and dreamworld when intoxicated.

The district of Mong Kok has withstood the test of a century to remain the hub of Kowloon. Yet today it is faced with a threat that few would have thought likely: the rainy season every year puts it under flood, wreaking havoc on the shops along a considerable stretch of the main thoroughfare, Nathan Road.

Investigations reveal that the flooding may be the result of a lack of coordination and confusion of priorities in government planning. But it seems that Mong Kok residents, particularly shop-owners, do have good reasons to complain and accuse government departments of passing the buck.

00One day it happens. People from all walks of life whether they want to or not, suddenly find themselves mysteriously compelled to tell the truth. For journalists in the newsroom of a TV station, this seems to be a dream come true. But the dream turns sour for them as government officials, politicians and other interviewees avoid encountering the media at all, and even people within the TV station find themselves forced to tell truths that others do not wish to hear.

00People unable to lie - could society as we know it survive?
