本节目调查使用棉条的潜在风险。世界各地的经期中毒性休克综合症个案有上升趋势，因此综合症而与死神擦身而过的女性会在节目中说出她们的故事。有赖独立的调查和测试，制作团队发现棉条的成分中，含有二恶英——一种被世界卫生组织列为引起重大公共卫生关注的化学品。

虽然女性一生之中平均用上11,000条棉条，但时至今日谈论这种产品的忌讳仍然存在。制在团队到美国、荷兰、法国以及比利时等地，访问科学家以及受经期中毒性休克综合症影响的人。

Tampon, Our Closest Enemy

This is an International investigation about dangers of the tampons. Cases of menstrual toxic shocks are increasing around the world and woman that have been close to death are witnessing. Thanks to independant studies and tests, we know now that tampons contain dioxicis, toxic components, among 10 the most dangerous chemicals classified by the WHO. 

However, a real taboo surounds this product, while women use an average of 11K tampons in their lives. We travel to the US, Netherlands, France, Belgium to meet scientifists and victims.
