Down Memory Lane: Aileen Woods in "Down Memory Lane"
First broadcast in 1947, the programme "Down Memory Lane" introduced different kinds of music to listeners. In Feburary 1970, the presenter Aileen Woods died at the age of 83. Her pre-recorded programmes continued to be broadcast.
