On Friday's Backchat, June 12th 2019 protests anniversary; and solicitors to take silk?
This Saturday marks the second anniversary of the anti-extradition bill protests outside the Legislative Council on June 12, 2019. Police clashed with protesters in Admiralty and Central in the most violent scenes in decades.
This year, netizens have called on Hongkongers to gather around Causeway Bay, while the police are planning to deploy more than 1,000 officers across the city to handle potential gatherings.

From 9:15am-9:30am, we’re discussing solicitors. Secretary for Justice Teresa Cheng is proposing a plan to allow legal officers in her department to attain the title of senior counsel. Why?
