Hong Kong's Footballer of the Year Kristian Vadocz has rejoined Kitchee. The former Hungary international returned to his home country in the off-season after helping Kitchee win back-to-back Hong Kong Premier League titles but the club announced last night that Vadocz 'quickly' signed a new contract and will start training with them today.
A spot on Kitchee opened up for Vadocz after Japanese-born striker Yuto Nakamura got his first Hong Kong cap on Tuesday and will be counted as a local player. Kitchee are expected to make more moves as they are still one player over the limit of five non-Asian players that a team is allowed to carry.
The champions are seventh in the table with just one win from their first three games. They play Tai Po in Mong Kok on Sunday.
