False: Measles jab more dangerous than the disease itself
A post is claiming that people are likely to experience seizures after getting vaccinated against measles. It’s been making the rounds on social media since mid-March, and being shared as a measles outbreak in the US worsens, reaching over 800 cases this week.
But why is it gaining any traction at all, and how much has the anti-vax message hampered efforts to stop the spread of measles, which had previously been eradicated?
