The biobank, at the Prince of Wales Hospital, recently received accreditation from A2LA. The US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, says her talks with senior officials in Beijing have helped stabilise relations between the two countries. The Xinhua news agency described her talks as constructive, though said Beijing has concerns over the sanctions and restrictions the US has imposed on China. It also noted that the two sides had agreed to strengthen communication and cooperation on addressing global challenges, and would continue with exchanges and interactions.
