Newly drawn geographical constituencies for future district council elections will see hundreds of thousands of people represented by just two councillors. The Hospital Authority says the waiting time for radiology services at hospitals in the New Territories has been cut by three months since it opened its makeshift hospital in the Lok Ma Chau Loop in April. Officials say its services were expanded earlier this month to cover all hospital patients in Hong Kong. Dr Sin Ngai-chuen is the clinical stream coordinator for the New Territories East cluster of hospitals. He told Vanessa Cheng that patients can now get diagnostic services a year and a half earlier than previously scheduled:

Over 90 percent of students have been allocated their top-three schools of choice through this year's secondary school allocation. But "door-knocking" - the practice in which parents approach preferred schools directly to secure their first choice - is still common, even with a recent reduction of such spots at schools. The Family Planning Association has introduced a new picture book featuring autistic children. Author Chau Wai-wai, who is also an education officer from the association, says although the picture book features autistic children, it is aimed at the public so that they can empathise with the difficulties of those on the spectrum. She told Ben Tse about the struggles of these children and how the public can be more inclusive:

A psychologist says parents are key in developing reasonable on-line habits among Hong Kong's children. Professor Sherry Yang, from the Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care Department of the Chinese University, was talking about a survey she was involved in that suggested strong links between the tendency to online addiction and poor mental health. Almost half of the 2,700 students questioned claimed to have experienced moderate to very severe depression. Almost a third admitted taking part in binge gaming, and over 40 percent said they binge watch videos. The study was jointly carried out by the HKCT Institute of Higher Education and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Yang told Mike Weeks more about the study:
