44 youngsters have been taken to hospital following a suspected food poisoning outbreak at a Jockey Club camp in Tai Po. The Advisory Council on the Environment says it hopes authorities will offer short-term solutions to protect endangered marine species that enter Hong Kong waters. The chair of the Hong Kong Dolphin Conservation Society, Taison Chang, has urged the authorities to ensure that the baleen whale that died in Sai Kung waters last week is buried properly so it does not negatively impact the environment. His call came after the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department announced it would bury parts of the huge carcass near High Island Reservoir West Dam after completing a necropsy of the whale. Chang told Anne Chan that authorities would recover the whale's bones for education and conservation purposes after its natural decay:
Govt urged to announce 2025 emission reduction targets  Listenfacebook
The CEO of the Clean Air Network says the government is overdue in announcing its emission reduction targets for 2025 and 2030. Patrick Fung was commenting after a new report from Hong Kong, Guangdong and Macau showed improving air quality - but worsening ozone levels - in the Pearl River Delta. He told Samantha Butler that the three governments were moving in the right direction with their climate goals but needed to speed up the implementation of policy measures:

The Tourism Commissioner says authorities will enhance communication between the operator of the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and the taxi industry to strengthen taxi services at the terminal. Former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan's lawyers have been attempting to launch legal challenges against his three-year sentence for graft that has ruled him out of contesting national elections.
