The government says it is shocked by two power glitches in Tsing Yi in a short space of time and it has expressed concerned about people's safety. The blackout occurred at a public housing estate on Sunday morning and lasted for more than an hour, affecting some 300 households. It is the second time in seven days that Tsing Yi has been hit by a power glitch after reports of an explosion at the Nga Ying Chau Street CLP substation last Monday. Damon Pang reports:

US regulators have temporarily grounded certain Boeing 737 Max 9 jetliners for safety checks after a cabin panel blowout forced an Alaska Airlines jet to make an emergency landing. Boeing was already trying to recover from two deadly air crashes almost five years ago.
