Former Legco member, Pan Pey-chyou, says not all elderly care home residents should be forced to isolate in Covid quarantine facilities. Despite authorities saying it was necessary to send infected residents and their close contacts to such places, Dr Pan said some nursing homes were better than others, making it possible for patients to stay on-site. He also said some residents required intensive care. He urged authorities to look at upgrading isolation facilities. Home prices reversed course in May, falling 0.3 percent on-month. The price of private flats rose one percent in April from the month before in what proved to be a very short-lived rebound. Despite the overall decline, prices for large homes over 1,075 square feet rose 1.6 percent, while those smaller than that size dropped 0.4 percent. Compared to the same month last year, May home prices were down 2.4 percent. Nicholas Brooke of Professional Property Services told Joanne Wong that he expected property prices to edge down further:
