1. What musical instruments 乐器 do you play?
- Ukulele is very popular at the moment.

- Mozart had a short life, born in 1756 and died in 1791 at the age of 35. He created over 800 pieces of work. Mozart was also tutored by his father, who had a strong work ethic and was a perfectionist 完美主义者. Mozart started composing 作歌 when he was 5 years old. He was playing music for kings, queens, and royalty in Europe since he was 6. Although he wrote timeless music 不受时间影响的；永恒的音乐, he had little money and died very poor.

- Maggie: My school didn’t have proper music lessons like the schools in Hong Kong. But I was in choir 合唱团 (US: Chorus).

3. Attending a classical concert
- Announcements 广播 you may hear:
- Please switch off your electronic devices 电子仪器.
- Please put your electronic devices on silent mode or flight mode.
- Smoking is prohibited in the theater. / prohibit 禁止
- No photography is allowed. OR
- Photography is prohibited.
- Dress code 衣着
- Back in the day, would it be black-tie?
- For men, you would need to wear a tuxedo. 燕尾服
- For women, you would need to wear a gown 长袍/ 晚礼服.
- Formal or Black-Tie Optional
- For men, wear a suit with a tie.
- For women, a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit / dressy 需着正装的/ 适合正式场合的
- Maggie’s prom experience - it was hard to shop for a gown.

- For men, a suit with a tie.
- Semi-Formal
- For attending a wedding
- Floor-length gowns would be inappropriate.
- Hong Kong people always attend a wedding in jeans.

- Maggie: I interned at Southwest Airlines when I was in college, and they specifically said flip flops 人字拖 are acceptable as long as your toes are manicured 修剪整齐.

- Maggie: I have only watched a Broadway show once in New York.
- Dress appropriately. 衣着端庄 / appropriate 适当
- Mind your time. 准时 / mind - 小心
