Welcome to Thursday on Morning Brew. We have just over a week left of our early starts and mini request time, after the news at 9. Keep them coming. Just email or post your songs on our Facebook page. After 10 Steve Vines returns for his weekly look between the lines. As always we love to receive your emails, especially the ones that read “Vines is talking rubbish”. Dr. Dave the vet is still away on his world tour, so at 11.40 Chris Watts will be with us to talk about your suboccipital muscles, and he reviews a new book about how to stop...ageing. Maestro JC Viens joins us on the line from Guangzhou at 12.10 for this week’s wine class. (9:00am-1pm, email email@example.com )
Welcome to a new week on Morning Brew. We’ll begin at 10.10 with our weekly rugby report from Robbie McRobbie. Today he reports live from Scotland...where it will be 2 in the morning. He’s currently wide awake wondering what he’d do if he ever suffered from insomnia. At 10.40 (for this week) Dr. Merrin Pearse will be with us for his regular eco-bit. The Royal Commonwealth Society is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year with...a cricket match, in fact the Commonwealth Cricket Cup, this coming weekend. Its Chairman Peter Mann joins us after 11. At 12.10 we welcome Nanjing based British artist Bill Aitchison to the programme. He’ll tell you all about his current exhibition here called Quick Fix.
