International Chopin Competition Gold Medallist Eric Lu turns to the composer’s Concerto in E minor, illuminating its lyricism and youthful ardour with his poetic voice. HK Phil Resident Conductor, Lio Kuokman leads Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, ablaze with orchestral fireworks. The evening begins with Yao Chen’s newly commissioned Waltz of the Rolling Giants, written especially for the orchestra’s China and international tours in the 2026/27 season.
