《龙凤呈祥》是一出融合舞台和电影的京剧经典传统大戏，故事取材自《三国演义》。东汉末年，孙权为夺回荆州，与周瑜共设美人计，假称将孙之胞妹孙尚香许配刘备。诸葛亮将计就计，刘备过江招亲，此事弄假成真。最后刘备携眷返回荆州，周郎却是赔了夫人又折兵。
