City of Spring: Kunming
Arriving in Kunming, acclaimed as the "City of Eternal Spring," Sasa and Meka embarked on their first expedition in this spring city from the famous landmark, the Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Archway. They officially began their exploration at the Dounan Flower Market, the largest flower trading market in Asia. As soon as they entered, they were overwhelmed by the vast array of flowers that surrounded them. Like butterflies, they swiftly navigated through the market, unraveling the secrets of the floral industry's development.
Apart from attracting flower merchants, the "City of Eternal Spring" also captures the attention of thousands of red-beaked seagulls that flock to the Dianchi Lake every year. Sasa and Meka couldn't resist joining the "fierce competition" (although they were a bit afraid of getting pecked) among the visitors who eagerly fed the seagulls. On the other side of the dam, in the Western Hills scenic area, they discovered the tomb of Nie Er, the composer of China's national anthem.
