Speaking at the World Internet Conference Asia Pacific summit which concluded yesterday, the director of the central government’s liaison office in Hong Kong, Zheng Yanxiong, emphasized that the SAR plays a crucial role in the region's internet industry development.
Speakers at the event also pointed out that the SAR could further leverage its robust research and development institutions to foster new technologies.
This year’s forum comes amid growing concerns surrounding the impact of the ongoing trade war, with several firms already preparing action plans to mitigate the impact of tariffs on their businesses. What other steps can Hong Kong take to enhance its position?
